Federic O barrocci is an Italian artist born in 1526. I chose to look at this piece " Study of a mans left arm ."
I like the way he has drawn the different angles over the top of the other ones. It reminds me of a drawing I did in water colour pencil, it was a study of a life model. And I drew over previous marks until I got it right. The arm at the top is starting to look at tone, where as the arm underneath that is looking at placement and lines. The third arm is more realistic as he has used tone and colour to make the arm look more human.
I like this piece as it is simple yet really shows the things to consider in drawing.
