David Cass is a fine artist. He uses found objects as the surface he paints on. he goes to flee markets and buys tables and suitcases and paints on their surfaces. he has a common theme as he paints his interpretation of the sea on the surfaces. he also has a post card project where he will paint on any post card and send it to you to help fund his work and research. I enjoy his work I like the concept of the found objects being the surface. Also the way he paints the sea is almost therapeutic to look at, as it is simple yet almost a pattern. I also like the way he funds his work by doing something simple yet personal.
